Literary Arts nominations will open on September 26, 2007 and close on October 20, 2007.

Nominations for Film, Music, Visual Arts, and Performance Arts have ended. Thanks for participating. The top five in nominations count will determine our five nominees for the 2007 Pride In The Arts Awards in these categories which will be announced August 29, 2007 with the opening of award determination voting.

Pride In The Arts Awards 2006 / 2007
The Rules:

1. Only one vote/ballot per valid email address is accepted. Only the first vote/ballot received will be included in the count. Additional votes/ballots from the same email address will be deleted. Both multiple same name @ varied domain name as well as the reverse may be checked for redundant votes, if found to be redundant votes they will be deleted.
2. All artists participating in the StoneWall Society GLBT Artist Promotion are eligible for nomination. Eligibility may be determined by an artist's presence in the GLBT Artists Directory located at http://www.stonewallsociety.com/GLBTArtists/glbtartists.htm 
3. Artwork present on the participating artists websites at the time of nominations, as well as submitted work, will be eligible.
4. Nominations are made by artists, SWS Members, and visitors, through open internet nomination, and by committee. 
5. Nominations for the SWS Pride In The Arts Awards will be the source for award vote and final determination. 
Nominees will be determined by total of nomination votes public and committee received and meeting with the stated rules. The top five nominees will be listed for vote. 
Voting on nominees will begin on June 26th and end September 15, 2007. Voting on Literary Arts nominees will begin September 15, 2007 and end October 15, 2007.
Public voting for nominees  to determine award recipients will begin September 29 and end November 29, 2007. Literary Arts voting will begin October 29, 2007 and end November 29, 2007.
Recipients will be notified by email and via a program of award announcements on Rainbow World Radio. Recipients will be presented awards via snail mail.  
Categories currently include: Music Art, Literary Art, Visual Art, Film Arts, and Performance Art.  More categories may be added as required to address need. 
6.In the event of an even tie vote for any specific award, artists who are a part of the tie vote will be awarded as recipients in full.
7. Award recipients are not eligible for nomination the following year for the same award for the same work. 
8. All recipients will be listed in that year's award recipient directory.
9. Fan Awards have been replaced by "_______ Of the year" awards. Example: Musician of the Year

Nominations

Nominations will be in Ballot form. Each ballot will contain all available awards for that category. There will be five categories for 2006 / 2007. Music Art Nominations, Literary Art Nominations, Visual Art Nominations, Performance Art and Film Arts. Only one, the first, ballot per category will be accepted from each verified / valid email address. Make sure you nominate all for each ballot before submitting your ballot.  Remember previous award year  recipients are not eligible for nomination for the same award for the same work of art. Nominees will be determined by the total count of nominations. Up to five nominees per award will be listed for award vote.
