GLBTI Artists Promotion is now Free & Fee based!

You Are Invited.....

Available to all GLBTI artists, and supporters. Our basic promotion is totally free and is intended to support, introduce, and promote GLBTI artists. A link to StoneWall Society, OutVoice, and or Rainbow World Radio is required for free basic participation in the promotion.. This promotion works best when perceived as one with a "networking" basis. When we all support each other, we create a wealth of opportunities. Below is a list of services offered. This is not an automatic list, so please feel free to let us know in which service you have an interest.

Please note changes.
1. From October 1999 to January 2012 the GLBT artists promotion has been a totally free program. Link backs were not verified. As of January, 2012 all link backs will be verified. We will attempt contact with participating free artists a minimum of two times prior to determining if we will continue that artist's inclusion in the directories.
2. Artist Wings were included in the free program from October 1999 to January 15, 2012. Beginning January 25, 2012 artists wings will be a benefit provided only to artists participating in the fee based, $15.00 per year program outlined below. All artists with wings established during the free period will be contacted to allow them to participate in the new program before the wings are removed from the StoneWall Society website.

Basic (free) promotion, Link-back promotion

This program of the GLBT Artist promotion is free with verified link back from the artist's website.

When you complete this form, and a link back to one of the mentioned websites is verified, you will be added to the Stonewall Society GLBT artists directory. This is the largest directory of GLBT Artists we have found on the Internet or elsewhere. To further add benefit we have opened www.glbtartists.com which will also house the GLBT Artists Directory, selected reviews and some Rainbow World Radio programs.

When you submit your art and a statement of permission to include, along with this completed registration we will include your art into our library. Submitted art may be included in our online and live programs and events. Any time art is utilized in our programs full credit with links to artist's websites and ownership of the submitted art will be announced and or posted. StoneWall Society will never claim ownership of any submitted art. Original artists will always be recognized.

To clarify, when you complete the registration below and place a permanent link on your website to any one of the following; StoneWall Society, OutVoice, or Rainbow World Radio, you will open the three free benefits listed below. Please email when you add a link-back so we may verify. Prior to all requested services we will verify link-back status.

1. Inclusion in the GLBT Artists Directory found on StoneWall Society and GLBT Artists.
2. Availability for inclusion in programs and live events always with notification to the artist.
3. If we provide a review of any submitted art for artists in the link-back free program, that review will be published in a general review area on the StoneWall Society website, and be published in other supported areas. (Reviews will remain online in the SWS area for a minimum of two weeks.)

Fee Based Promotion Membership

For services below there is a membership fee of $15.00 per year. There are discounts for up to a three year membership. An initial period of six months is available for $8.00.

1.) StoneWall Society & OutVoice Reviews are housed permanently within member artist's own "permanent wing" on the StoneWall Society website. The main page of the artist wing will be a permanent wing with a permanent URL as long as the artist is a participant in the fee based promotion. Links to the artist's website are included. If the joining artist wishes to utilize an existing review to establish a wing we may accept submitted reviews not by SWS for use in an artist's wing.
A) All fee based members will have a permanent wing with permanent URL as long as they maintain membership in the fee based program. The wings may include reviews and or performance and or release information. Links to the artist's website as well as purchase points for the artist's art will also be included when provided by the artist. However there must be content to open a wing so be sure to either submit art to be reviewed or an already existing review.
2.) Interviews, artist and art promotions are available. Some may be recorded for Rainbow World Radio about the artist and their work. These interviews may also be in print form for use throughout the SWS Network and online/live resources we utilize to promote our artist members. We do ask that the artist promote the event. Promotion may be by email blast, (send a copy to len@stonewallsociety.net), or website listing for shows. However as this is a paid membership artists are not required to promote. Membership fees cover that. (This service was a free service in the past. Due to overhead costs and lack of promotion by artists we have changed to a fee based membership.)
3.) Our Artist content is made available to GLBTI print resources throughout the U.S., Europe, Australia, Asia, and South America at no charge to the print resource. Additionally our content and programs are made available to several educational and group resources who may utilize our art content for class or group discussions.
4.) We do quarterly as need/requested Press Releases to appropriate press and GLBTI press regarding artistic content.
5.) StoneWall Society will also add your GLBTI music, and other appropriate art forms (with your permission, and waiver of royalty rates, if submitted), to our programs on commercial-free Rainbow World Radio. As our programs are streamed your art is not made available for download. We require a waiver of royalty fees due to the recent FCC ruling. If in the future our programs would alter to a income generated area on Rainbow World Radio we will of course contact artists to establish appropriate fees. Rainbow World Radio is however commercial free and free to enjoy. We only promote our own programs. We do allow artists in interviews to mention performance venues. There is no charge and we receive no income from these announcements.
6.) All reviews will be added by StoneWall Society to links provided by the artists for purchase sites like Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble as well as other sites which allow the posting of reviews.
7.) Music is added to our catalog for inclusion on Rainbow World Radio, when absent, (which is frequent), IDE Tags are formatted for inclusion and registry is made to various online promotional databases. This adds your music to the industry standard music database used by over 30 million people in over 130 countries each month.
8.) The Artist On Arts Series is designed to facilitate coverage of live events and promote both the artist being covered as well as the artist doing the coverage. When these articles are submitted to StoneWall Society specifically, these articles will be included in the authoring artist's wing and are made available to various media before being published on the StoneWall Society website.
9.) Availability to participate in events, promotional programs, and community support programs as a part of the StoneWall Society Artists Group thus enlarging your personal visibility and support.
10.) We will offer Online CD/Art release broadcast programs on Rainbow World Radio. The programs may include give-a-way items by the artists. We will devote an entire program to the introduction and promotion of your CD/Art. We can do this feature for all art categories. We do ask that the artist promote the event. Promotion may be by email blast, (send a copy to len@stonewallsociety.net), or website listing for shows. However as this is a paid membership artists are not required to promote. Membership fees cover that. (This service was a free service in the past. Due to costs and lack of promotion by artists we have changed to a fee based membership.) SWS, OutVoice, and Rainbow World Radio will also promote events promoted by the artists on our network websites and external media.
11.) We will host a section called the StoneWall Society Artists Pot Of Gold. This area will list all items sent by artists to be included on radio, website, and live give-a-ways by StoneWall Society. All items we use will come from this source. This is an additional promotional area for material.
12.) All fee based participants, unless directed otherwise by the participant, will also have a website link on the Network Members Directory page at www.onequalgrounds.net
13.) Artists participating in the fee based program are encouraged to place reciprocal links back to one of the websites listed above. However as this a fee based program reciprocal links are not required.
14.) All artists/participants of the fee based program will be eligible for a ten (10) percent discount for all items offered by as "Network Promotions" at www.onequalgrounds.net. The discount is per item, all items.
* Sexually explicit and hate based materials will not be accepted.

Individual item Fee based participation

We will accept individual fee based services as well. If an artist wishes to participate in our promotions but is not interested in placing a link to one of the websites listed above on their website, or in paying an annual membership fee, the following fee schedule will apply.

CD release / listening show with artist interview - $45.00 for one two-week show.
Press release service - $125.00 per year for up to twelve pre-written and submitted releases per year. Single release service on written and submitted releases $25.00 per release. If you would like us to write the release, add $20.00 per release.
IDE tag formatting - $10.00 for non-participants.

For press agents, publicists, PR firms etc we have established the following;

An annual participation fee of $200.00 for up to three clients. This fee is due and payable by the agency not the artist. Agencies found charging the artist for this fee will not be included in our promotions.

If you select "I am not submitting material" there would be no content for a wing. Arrangements may be made through StoneWall Society to accept an already written review from an alternate source. Of course all editorial credit is given to the original author of any reviews. Contact point to make alternate review arrangements. If no review and or material is submitted then promotion participants will be listed in the GLBT Artists Directory on StoneWall Society and featured on www.glbtartists.com which would link to the artist's website. If you are submitting material via email please send us your URL and be make sure your art is featured and available for download.
