Reigning Men "Family Out-ing" Review By: Len    I am always amazed when I ask to see the playlist at a GLBT bar. Rarely do I see many, if any at all, of the artists which are actually of the GLBT music community. It is even more amazing when listening to artists like Reigning Men. Excellent dance, done with style, flavor, and yes even a little thought stimulus. All this and thinking too!!! Clever and provocative lyrics combined with compelling unique musical style create a discoleptic's delight.

     Twelve tracks strong, and strong is the appropriate word. Subjects range from the growling beginning tracks of "Bear", to include;  community icon "Gaydar", and a dark yet amusing "Shadows In The Closet". The later is repeated at track eleven with the addition, "Mary's psycho Trance Mix" an excellent variable on the original tune. Overall the music is dance and more than creates the energy to get up and move. So tell your DJ's to get with the program and play some real GLBT dance music. Not that the dancing will be any different, but the subject matter, provocative lyrics, and themes will make for even better overall night out.
