that, builds tempo, pitch, and exuberance. Being an "older" discoleptic, I can easily see the throng of pounding bodies as wild yells of acceptance and recognition hit the crowd during the quick and pounding, "Dixie". "Homophobia" addresses some obvious issues but in such a way as to enhance the dance experience, by interjecting fitting emotion. I would be torn between "Dixie" and "Teddy Bear (Bear Pride Re-Mix)" as favorites on this CD. "Teddy Bear the 'Re-Mix" grants a fun sing-a-long with Baker's "join in" energy magnet style. The slower, "Teddy Bear (Romantic Mix)" is not really a ballad and again very danceable. A piece which sticks to the mind like hot oatmeal on a winter's morning sticks to the ribs.
All in all a good dance CD. Even toned, there are no lulls, no blackouts. Just good dance fun with some familiar and memorable lyrics. A great addition to any collection. Check out more about Ray "MusicBear" Baker and how to get his music on his website!
