"The Truth Is" Mark Weigle Review by: Len       What a wonderful prepare for Mark's new CD "Out Of The Loop" to review his debut disc, "The Truth Is". This prolific and constantly engaging musician is a force which reaches personal depths with lyrics, melodies, and emotions. His second CD, "All That Matters" and "The Truth Is" both enjoyed many weeks high on the OutVoice music chart, and deservedly so.

     Weigle brings diverse to the forefront on "The Truth Is" by combining musical styles and wide emotional concepts. Ranging from soft country rock, a little pop, and easy ballads to the zesty country beat of "The Two Cowboy Waltz", and an equally wide span of emotions. The listener is challenged by the musical diversity and artist's thoughtful emotions. All is brought together by the warm, soothing, sensual, and engaging voice of Mark Weigle. 

    Mark's sensitivity is apparent throughout the entire "The Truth Is" CD. Inviting, welcoming, and strong, Weigle shares his experiences and life with us through the songs included. Thirteen tracks complete the CD, but not your desire to hear more. Beginning with the reminiscent soft country rock of "If You Grew Up Here" Weigle has your attention. The heartwarming "If It Wasn't Love" brings a striking message about really caring and what that can mean while at the same time answering social stigma and misunderstanding. "When I See You Say", which tells of a Deaf/hearing relationship, is one of the most beautiful love songs I have ever heard. Poignant, touching, and universal in message and appeal, this one is my favorite of the CD. Although, that was not in itself an easy decision, as "The Truth Is" it's all good!
