"Country Sun" Sun Country Singers Sun Review by: Len      Once again I am pleased to say that a compilation to showcase songwriting abilities is a stand alone listening experience. Sun has an ability to create songs which are instantly recognizable and familiar. The songs included on "Country Sun" are no exception. So far we have seen Sun's venture into Pop, Soul. and now Country. All with aplomb, talent, and genre success.      Sun's generous offering of sixteen songs is just the start of a surprising and pleasant experience. It does add a very Sunesque twist that this country is coming from a New York City. Make no mistake this is country, and good country.

     More the ballad variety, a CD with a wide range of emotion, good music, and lyrics. I would think a singer looking for material would find this collection of Sun's a sheer delight. The contract singers used for "Country Sun" are as with Sun's other two showcase CD's to date, a perfect match for the selections. From broken hearted to down home feel it is all here. You may even find a tear or two in that beer mug. While in the traditional, personal feelings, everyday life style of country, Sun brings his unique stamp to each selection. Loved awed to love lost and everything in between, Sun hits all the spots. A strong CD with good vocals, lyrics, music, production, and did I mention.....country.
