"Gardener Of Eden" Robin Greenspan Review by: Len Robin Greenspan offers a fresh, unique, and loaded with talent experience. It is always a happy surprise to have music titillate and challenge. Greenspan does just that and more. Witty and thought provoking lyrics packaged with a rock/pop flavor. However, this is another artist not to be pigeonholed, some folk elemental influences along with slight jazz back beats, create an interesting and very distinct style which can best |
be described as only... Robin Greenspan.
This is a musical journey of wild imagery, common threads, and fulfilling sentiment. All united by Robin's irresistible voice. Fresh and sultry, at times strength which can transcend to deep emotion in one snap. Greenspan keeps you on your toes with sexy lyrics, great accompaniment, and again that sole experience of vocal talent which is uniquely Robin's.
You know the experience will be a good one starting with track one, "Lay It On The Line". The fun and pleasure continues through the entire CD. Greenspan sings about things which we all understand. So the enjoyment is universal. As I feel will be her appeal. The messages are strong and the presentation delightful, what more can we ask?
The last two tracks, number ten: "Psychic Power Shack" and final track eleven, (my favorite), "Optimistic", bring the journey to a charged closing. Catchy, familiar yet fresh, "Psychic Power Shack" sets up "Optimistic" with lingering beats and melody. The transition between the two is awesome in the way they create a "musical reaction". Robin leaves us wanting more, and soon! Check our her latest, and get your own copy of "Gardener Of Eden" at Robin's website.
