This
award winning singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer &
producer has four original CD releases to his credit - "godless"
(1997), Elegies (2000), "Who I Was" (2001) and the new 2003 release Rock
Widow. Robert is also owner/operator of his own Manhattan-based Urban
Productions Recording Studio. Urban has assisted and supported the GLBT music community through producing and hosting his "Urban Productions BOLDLY Presents" an all GLBT multi-artist live-in-concert series; and his "Open Wide" open mic series. |
He is also accompanist, session musician,
producer/arranger/sound engineer and private music teacher for a variety
of GLBT artists.
An
uncompromising and distinctly unique queer rock-artist, Robert
performs both solo and with his own progressive rock band. He provides musical
scores for numerous professional music, dance, theater & film
productions. He is a 2002 recipient of the StoneWall Society Pride In The
Arts Awards (Pride Song of the Year for "The Waiting Song"), and
winner of two Outmusic OMA awards for "Outstanding CD" (Elegies)
and "Best Live Performer of the Year".
