Eric Himan “I go on…” CD Review  by  Review by Mountman Taken directly from Eric’s Site ,“He desired to make a CD that reflected more truly his blues, jazz, and even bluegrass influences.” Not only is Eric a Graduate of Pen State University, but he also appears in the 2004 edition of Fender's Frontline Magazine.       Now on Himan’s goal specific  CD, “I go on”.  Eric has achieved and surpassed his goal. Not only do we hear Eric’s influences, we feel them.  The CD was first released

September 2002.  Eric’s vocal talents are in some ways reminiscent of  Traci Chapman in several of the tracks, especially ones like, “Delicately Made”. Eric and his Fender guitar are best  friends. The relationship between them is magical. When he says blues he mean BLUES. With the track “Alone”, he sends his emotions directly through his guitar and blends them with his voice. 

    I can’t wait to see what new music Eric shares with us. Based on, “I go on”, Himan has demonstrated and exciting strength in his capacity to push himself to the fullest. More than making his future music an intrinsically necessary adventure.
