Online Music and
site review Stewed Tomatoes Review by: Len Taken from the Stewed Tomatoes website: A visit to the cyber home of Stewed Tomatoes is an interesting and worthwhile surf. Great music is available on site with links to the MP3.com site for Stewed |
Tomatoes. So you can get great sampling of their music. Not just samples, complete songs. The selection style is pretty consistent with Stewed Tomatoes overall self stated "Psychedelic Pop". However that does not prohibit huge amounts of interesting approaches and some genre drifting. In addition to the Press Releases, Show Information, Sales, Bio's, Booking information, and of course music, you can look up a recipe and send a Stewed Tomatoes greeting card. A unique twist, but that's not surprising from this group. Their sense of humor is sprinkled throughout the website. In heavy doses. When you leave you do have a sense of attachment, so the website is a major success in that area. But hey, this is Stewed Tomatoes right?
An impressive amount of music
is freely available. Showcasing a musical panoramic view of the talent in this
group. Stewed Tomatoes consists of: "Drummer
Diva * Katie J "Alien
Spawn", Bass Babe * Lisa "Hermes"Hernandez,
and
Guitar Girl * Martie Marro
"muddy"." The
music created by Stewed Tomatoes is as unique and diverse as the names/handles
used the the band members. Some of the music available for download include:
"Underwater", "This Is Why You Hate' with Herman Munster,
"If You See Kay" my personal favorite", Chronic, and
"Boy". The list goes on to a total of twelve songs. So in essence you
can sample a CD's worth of music to get your Stewed Tomatoes craving. And that
will only be the start. Stewed Tomatoes' music has an electricity which sparks
within you and creates a desire for more.
Their video "Smoke My Cowboy", which was nominated for an American Music Award is also available on the Stewed Tomatoes website. Just grab a copy of Real Player and sit back and enjoy. It is little wonder that this hard working, (they own their own studio as well), group is sought after by Pearson Television and Francis Ford Coppola for upcoming episodes of SCI- FI hit “First Wave”. Make some time and check out Stewed Tomatoes Website. A new twist on an established recipe - Stewed Tomatoes!
